Communications: Division newsletter

The Central Vancouver Island Division encompasses all areas north of the Malahat Hwy to the north tip of Vancouver Island, including many smaller islands and Powell River. Our purpose is to create and foster fellowship, develop new friendships and also to renew past friendships with all our members and families. To that end, members, their partners and families are welcome at all of our meetings and get-togethers. Six luncheon/meetings per year (except July and August) rotate between our larger centers of Duncan, Nanaimo, Parksville/Qualicum, Port Alberni, Courtenay/Comox, and Campbell River. Executive luncheon/meetings are occasionally (approximately 3 times per year) arranged at the discretion of the President, and are usually held at a venue in Parksville for centralization of travel. Meals are ‘’à la carte’’.

For our members who cannot attend our meetings and events we have regular communications going out in the form of email and newsletters. These items are sent out via mail chimp to all of our CVI members who have provided an email address.
