Below is information on Governor in Council Appointments, and upcoming opportunities with the Veterans Review and Appeal Board. Please feel free to share this with your networks, through your communication channels, as you see fit.

The Veterans Review and Appeal Board (VRAB) on behalf of the Government of Canada is seeking dedicated individuals who would like to join VRAB and support those who have served our nation.

The Board’s mission is to provide a fair and impartial review process for Veterans if they are not satisfied with a decision on disability benefits. By joining our Board, you have the opportunity to become part of a compassionate and dedicated team that can make a difference in the lives of Veterans.

At VRAB, we strive to ensure that our Board includes a cross-section of Members with experience and education including medical, legal, military, police, and public service. However, we also recognize the importance of regional representation and diversity, with qualified Canadians from all walks of life. Your voice matters, and your perspectives and experiences can help us shape policies and decisions.

By joining the Board, you have a chance to make a meaningful difference. As a Board Member, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and expertise to assess evidence, review cases, and make decisions that can profoundly affect the lives of Canada’s Veterans and their families.

Moreover, being part of VRAB offers personal and professional growth. It provides a platform for you to enhance your leadership skills, deepen your understanding of Veterans’ issues, and collaborate with fellow Board Members who share the same passion for making a positive impact.

If you have an interest in supporting Canada’s Veterans, we encourage you to apply for a Governor in Council position, to become part of our Board.
