RCMP Veterans’ Association

The RCMP Quarterly

The Official Magazine of the Association

Our next chapter

The Quarterly goes digital starting summer 2025

For more than 90 years, The Quarterly has been the voice of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), capturing the heart of service, sacrifice, and connection across every division. Since its first edition in 1933, this volunteer-led publication – produced by the RCMP Veterans’ Association – has shone a light on the people behind the badge: those on the front lines, those behind the scenes, and the communities they serve.

Each issue brings together voices from across the country: personal stories of service and resilience, historical retrospectives, reflections from Veterans, operational highlights, and community engagement in action. You’ll learn about members running ultramarathons to support mental health, new recruits inspired by the legacy of women in policing, and officers handing out “positive tickets” to local youth just for doing the right thing. These aren’t just stories – they’re a living testament to what it means to serve.

As the RCMP has grown and evolved, so too has The Quarterly. Beginning in the summer of 2025, the magazine will move to an all-digital format. This change, prompted by the rising cost of print production, ensures that we can continue sharing these stories far and wide, while maintaining the same high standard of storytelling and connection our readers have come to expect.

If you’re a current subscriber, please be sure to update your email address and register for the digital edition so you don’t miss an issue: https://membership.rcmpva.org/rcmpva-quarterly/.

If you’re discovering The Quarterly for the first time – or if you’re a former subscriber thinking of coming back – we’d be honoured to welcome you. For just $40 a year, you’ll receive access to inspiring, behind-the-scenes perspectives from across the RCMP.

We hope you’ll join us as The Quarterly begins its next chapter – a new digital era where the stories of our people and their impact will continue to be shared, celebrated, and preserved.
