Ron Harvey joined the RCMP on October 25,1957. Following recruit training, he was first posted to Ontario and served in Windsor, Brantford and Point Pelee. He was transferred to the north and served at Fort Smith, NWT. He later served in Alberta and retired at the rank of Staff Sergeant on December 31, 1979.
