Remo Tedeschini joined the RCMP on March 10, 1955. Following recruit training, he served in multiple Divisions and posts. In the 1950s, he served for a time in Prince Albert Sub-Division, “F” Division, and was later posted to RCMP HQ, Ottawa at the rank of Sergeant, serving in the Traffic Administration Branch. During the mid-1980s he served as the “K” Division Traffic Officer. Following his retirement at the rank of Inspector on July 17, 1987, he served as the Director of Security for the Summer Games held in Surrey, B.C. in 1989.
