It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Thomas Isaiah of Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories announce his sudden passing on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the age of 55.
Survived by his mother, Rose Isaiah, his sisters, Hazel Isaiah, Eileen Isaiah, Bernice Isaiah, Diane Simba and Sandra Gargan, and his brothers Marvin Browning and Floyd Browning.
Gordon joined the RCMP on October 17, 1991. During his career, he served in multiple regions including British Columbia, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories. Postings included Williams Lake, B.C., Yellowknife and Fort Simpson, NWT. Following his retirement from the RCMP in 2017, he worked as a Regional Manager Operations, Dehcho Health and Social Services Authority in Fort Simpson, NWT.
A celebration of life will be held for Gordon on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Fort Simpson Community Centre, starting at 2:00 PM.
