Dave Boyd joined the RCMP on August 10, 1960. He served in Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant by 1984. In July 1984, Dave transitioned to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service and remained with the Service until his retirement on March 31, 1994.
