Dear Association Members,
2020 is a commemorative year for the Force celebrating 100 years since officially being named the Royal Canadian Mounted Police after merging with the Dominion Police.
It was felt that this would be an ideal opportunity to commemorate this centennial year, along with the critical role that the Musical Ride has contributed to the RCMP heritage by organizing this historic, first all-inclusive Musical Ride Reunion.
The Reunion will be held at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre Ottawa on June 25/26/27 and is open to all current and former RCMP Musical Ride members, stable and support staff, members of the original RCMP Band and invited guests.
The 3-day event will include a meet and greet on the afternoon of the 25th, a visit to the Pakenham farm and stable tour on the 26th for those interested, special invitation to the Sunset Ceremony on the evening of the 26th, and a dinner and dance on the evening of the 27th.
