Steve Orobko joined the RCMP on May 29, 1956. Following recruit training he was posted to Ontario where he served in “A” and “O” Divisioins until his retirement at the rank of Staff Sergeant on September 29, 1989. Following retirement he was a Court Services Officer with the Attorney General’s Dept in Niagara Falls, ON, Steve Orobko was a competitive marksman and frequently participated in police revolver competitions in Canada and the United States; often winning awards.
