Rolf Thorhauge was born April 18, 1941, at Herning, Denmark. He joined the Force on March 4, 1960 at Niagara Falls, ON. Upon completion of training at N Div, he served at J Div, O Div, A Div, RCMP Security Service at HQ Div then transferred to CSIS in July 1984 until retirement in 1993. He was awarded the RCMP Long Service Medal, Following retirement, he was an early member of The Pillar Society – the CSIS alumni organization – and served the Ottawa-Gatineau Chapter of Pillar Society as President.
