On February 29, 1980, then Cst. Glenn Kibsey was awarded a Commissioner’s Commendation for bravery for performance “above and beyond the call of duty” while working in B.C., in a selfless act that was protective of persons while prejudicial to Cst. Kibsey’s own life and safety.
