On October 15/17, 2025, RCMP Veterans Association held a 3-day workshop in Ottawa focusing on Veterans’ Homelessness. RCMPVA Support & Advocacy Team Members from across the country shared best practices on supporting Veterans; particularly those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or suffering from physical, mental or financial hardship. Attendees benefitted from presentations from the Veterans Ombud; Atlas Institute; the Chief – Veterans Review and Appeal Board; Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada; Veterans House Ottawa; RCMP Family Services; RCMP VAC Liaison. We’re very grateful to have been hosted by Legion Branch 593 and to all our guests who shared stories and counsel on how we can best support Veterans in need.
