Event Overview
The Ottawa Division Annual Golf Tournament took place on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Hylands Golf Club. A total of 94 golfers participated, each displaying their skills, talent, and, for some, remarkable honesty in reporting their overall scores.
Activities and Prizes
The tournament featured a variety of contests, including awards for the foursome with the most honest score, competitions for golf bags for closest to the pin (for both men and ladies), and a challenging putting contest. All these activities contributed to a memorable and enjoyable event. Following an enjoyable sunny afternoon on the course, participants gathered for a delicious meal prepared and served by the Hylands team. During the meal each participant was provided with a copy of the hard cover book “Why We Serve” courtesy of the National Police Federation, prizes were distributed, and attendees had the opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues from their years with the Force.

The tournament’s success was made possible by dedicated volunteers who supported every aspect of the event, from setup and teardown to ensuring all golfers could participate in various on- and off-course activities. Their commitment ensured that both fun and skill were at the forefront throughout the day.
